Hamilton Brass Quartz Carriage Clock West Germany - A brass carriage clock manufactured by Hamilton. The piece features a gold-toned rectangular case with a vertical brushed finish, a hinged rear door, a top swing handle, and four bun feet. Materials for this clock include brass and it needs battery for operation. The circular gold-toned dial displays black Roman numeral hour markers and black spade-style hands, with the Hamilton name and Quartz printed on the face. The bottom of the dial is marked Made in Germany and the rear panel is marked West Germany. The internal UTS 738 quartz movement is also marked Made in West Germany. Overall Height (with handle upright): 6.5 inches Case Height: 5.25 inches Case Width: 4 inches. The clock shows visible signs of age and wear. The brass case has light surface scratches and noticeable areas of tarnish and oxidation, particularly on the feet and bottom platform. A horizontal mark is visible on the left side of the case. The quartz movement has not been tested for functionality and contains an old AA battery.
