Aurora Watch Co. Savour Grade Gold-Filled Pendant Watch - This antique lady's pendant watch was manufactured by the Aurora Watch Company of Illinois, U.S.A. The manual wind movement is identified as the Savour grade and bears the serial number 139074. The watch is housed in an ornate gold-filled case featuring heavy scrollwork engraving and a beaded border along the bezel and case back edges. The white enamel dial is set with black Arabic numerals and features a dotted outer minute track with blued steel hands in a spade and whip design. The nickel-finish movement exhibits decorative damaskeening and is signed Aurora Watch Co. U.S.A. Savour. The interior of the case back is stamped GUARANTEED 20 YEARS above a heart symbol containing the letters NE, with the number 6 in a circle below. Case Diameter: Approximately 1 inch (26mm). The watch does not run. There is a significant accumulation of fiber and hair debris tangled in the hairspring and balance wheel assembly that will require professional cleaning and repair. The enamel dial displays several visible hairline cracks, most notably between the 7 and 9 o'clock positions and near the 11 o'clock numeral. The gold-filled case shows age-consistent surface wear, fine scratches, and minor tarnish, though the decorative engraving remains crisp. The crystal is present with light surface abrasions.
