Vintage Elgin Stainless Steel Swiss Manual Wind Date Wristwatch - This vintage Elgin wristwatch features a Swiss-made manual wind movement. The silver-tone sunburst dial is detailed with applied silver-tone baton hour markers, Arabic numerals at the 12, 6, and 9 positions, and a date window located at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is signed with the Elgin name, a stylized e logo, and the Swiss designation at the bottom. The case is constructed from stainless steel and features a screw-down case back and a signed crown. The watch is currently fitted with an aftermarket silver-tone expansion band with textured links marked China on the interior. Per user provided information, the watch runs. Case size: 33mm. The watch is in used vintage condition. The acrylic crystal is heavily scratched and scuffed across the surface, significantly obscuring the dial. The dial itself shows visible patina, spotting, and oxidation, particularly around the perimeter.
