Vintage Timex Marlin Manual Wind Calendar Wristwatch with Speidel Band - This vintage Timex Marlin wristwatch features a manual-wind mechanical movement with a calendar date window at the 3 o'clock position. The timepiece is constructed with a gold-tone base metal bezel and a circular brushed stainless steel case back. The champagne sunburst dial is detailed with gold-tone applied baton markers and Arabic numerals at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock. The dial is marked TIMEX and WATER RESISTANT. Small reference numbers are present at the bottom edge of the dial but are not clearly legible. The case back is inscribed in a circular pattern with WATER RESISTANT, DUST RESISTANT, STAINLESS STEEL BACK, and BASE METAL BEZEL surrounding a central TIMEX logo. The watch is fitted with a gold-tone Speidel expansion band featuring stainless steel bottom caps and patent number 2,689,450. No box or papers are included. The gold-tone hands show some oxidation and tarnishing. The Speidel expansion band shows heavy wear, plating loss, and visible grime buildup between the links. The movement is untested and the functional status is unverified.
