Vintage Hamilton Caliber 752 10K Gold Filled Tank Style Watch with Box and Papers 26mm - This vintage Hamilton manual wind wristwatch features a square tank style case with distinctive Art Deco lugs. The watch is powered by a caliber 752 17-jewel manual wind movement, made in the USA, with the movement serial number 20265C. The case construction consists of a 10 karat gold-filled bezel and a stainless steel case back. The interior of the case back is marked Hamilton W. Co. Lancaster PA. Stainless Steel Back 10K Gold Filled Bezel with the maker mark for Schwab and Wuischpard S and W and the serial number S439985. The cream-toned dial exhibits a square sub-seconds register above the 6 o'clock position and is marked Hamilton below the 12 o'clock numeral. Hour markers consist of a raised numeric 12 and gold-toned applied indices. The watch is fitted with a two-tone gold and silver-toned expansion link bracelet. This lot includes the original Art Deco tiered cream-colored presentation box with a blue velvet interior and Hamilton crest, an original price tag of 71.50, and the factory guarantee certificate. Case width: 26 mm Case length: 35 mm. The watch is currently non-functioning and needs a crown and winding stem. The crystal is missing. The dial shows heavy patina, significant surface discoloration, and spotting. The gold-filled case shows surface scratching, wear to the gold finish on high points, and accumulation of tarnish and grime. The movement appears intact but has not been tested for timekeeping due to the missing winding components. The expansion bracelet shows significant wear and stretching. The original presentation box shows some light surface staining and wear consistent with age but remains structurally sound.
