Vintage Kingston Watches Art Deco Style Presentation Box - A mid-20th-century watch display box manufactured for Kingston Watches. The presentation box features a flared cream-toned plastic base and a domed lid covered in deep burgundy velvet. The interior lid is lined in gold-toned satin and features the company logo consisting of a crown within a circular border. Below the logo is the brand name Kingston Watches in script and the slogan IN RHYME WITH TIME in block capitals. The interior base is lined with burgundy velvet and includes two integrated cushions. The front of the plastic base is decorated with raised gilded block letters reading KINGSTON. Length: 5 inches Width: 3.25 inches. Good vintage condition. The burgundy velvet on the lid shows visible pile compression, light fading, and minor fraying around the edges and hinge. The cream plastic base displays surface scuffs and minor discoloration consistent with age. The interior gold satin lining is intact with visible creasing and light foxing. The interior velvet components show minor pile wear. The hinge is functional and holds the lid in an open position.
