Vintage Seiko 1520-3629 Ladies Manual Wind Wristwatch, 1974 - A vintage Seiko ladies manual wind wristwatch, reference 1520-3629, produced by the Daini Seikosha factory. The timepiece features a rectangular case with a base metal top showcasing a heavy textured bark finish and a stainless steel case back. The dark navy blue dial is set with silver-tone baton hour markers and matching baton hands, marked SEIKO below the 12 o'clock position. The watch is powered by a 17-jewel caliber 1520B manual wind movement. It includes an integrated textured base metal link bracelet with a fold-over clasp. Exterior case back markings include SEIKO, serial number 410278, BASE METAL TOP, STAINLESS STEEL BACK, and 1520-3629, along with the Daini factory lightning bolt symbol. Interior case back is marked DAINISEIKOSHA CO., LTD. JAPAN-R. The movement is stamped JAPAN SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS SEIKO TIME CORP. 1520B UNADJUSTED. Total Length: Approximately 6.75 inches Case Width: Approximately 13 mm (excluding crown). The watch is in poor to fair vintage condition. The acrylic crystal is heavily scratched and features a significant impact crack/shattered section on the left side. The case and integrated bracelet show heavy wear, oxidation, and pitting to the base metal surfaces. The movement is currently unhoused and its working order is untested.
