5 Pennsylvania Railroad O Scale Model Boxcars - This lot features a group of 5 O scale model railroad boxcars decorated in various Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) liveries. These highly detailed models are constructed with plastic bodies and feature numerous separately applied details, including ladders, roof walks, and brake rigging. Each car is equipped with two four-wheel sprung die-cast metal trucks, machined metal wheels on metal axles, and operating knuckle couplers. The collection includes: An oxide red PRR X43A boxcar, road number 602056, featuring white serif lettering and a keystone logo, with data markings NEW 11-50. An oxide red PRR X31A round-roof boxcar, road number 77851, with a large keystone logo on the left and markings indicating BLT 6-38. A two-tone silver-gray over maroon PRR L.C.L. (Less-than-Carload) Service boxcar, road number 671392, featuring a red separation stripe, Liberty Bell emblem, and marked BLT 1-52. A dark brown PRR Passenger/Express Service boxcar, road number 2541, with two horizontal yellow stripes and a color keystone logo, marked BLT 1-49. The chassis of each car exhibits detailed underbody molding, including air brake cylinders and reservoirs. While no manufacturer name is clearly visible on the undersides, the scale proportions and high level of detail are consistent with premium models from manufacturers such as Atlas O, MTH Premier, or Weaver. The models are in excellent overall condition. The paint finishes are well-preserved with crisp, legible graphics and lettering. A light layer of surface dust is present from storage. All separately applied detail parts, including ladders and roof walks, appear intact and securely attached. Mechanical components, including the sprung trucks and couplers, are in good working order. No original boxes are included.
