A Pair of Vintage Lionel O-Gauge 2-6-4 Steam Locomotive and Tender - This lot features a vintage Lionel O-gauge electric toy train set comprising a 2-6-4 steam-style locomotive and a matching coal tender. The locomotive is constructed with a die-cast metal boiler and features metal handrails, decorative green jewel marker lights on the front pilot, and a visible internal electric motor. The locomotive cab side is marked with the numbers 545, and the underside plate is marked with the code 190361. The accompanying coal tender is marked LIONEL LINES on both sides in white lettering and features die-cast metal trucks with side frames embossed with the LIONEL name. The tender features an integrated simulated coal load. Both pieces are in used, vintage condition and are offered as-is for parts or restoration. The locomotive's front pilot truck and rear trailing truck are currently detached from the main chassis but are included in the lot. One wheel on the detached front pilot truck is loose on the axle. Both items exhibit a significant accumulation of dust and surface grime consistent with long-term storage. Minor paint wear and thinning are visible on the protruding edges and extremities of the locomotive and tender. The mechanical and electrical functionality of the motor has not been tested.
