Five Lionel and K-Line O-Gauge Model Train Freight Cars including Operating Voltmeter Boxcar - Five O-gauge model train freight cars manufactured by Lionel and K-Line. The collection is constructed primarily of molded plastic with metal wheels and axles and features operating knuckle-style couplers. The set includes a K-Line Power and Light Company operating voltmeter boxcar, model number K7041-8011, road number KPLX 92502. This car is finished with a yellow body, black sliding door, and a black roof featuring a red signal light and the Reddy Kilowatt mascot. The underside bears the K-Line logo and is marked Made in China. Also included is a Lionel Minneapolis and St. Louis 6464-series boxcar, road number 6464525, in a red livery featuring The Peoria Gateway logo. Side markings indicate it was manufactured by Lionel in April 1957. The third item is a Lionel Pennsylvania Railroad boxcar, road number 90259, in brown with the PRR Keystone logo and yellow Cushioned Car text. The fourth car is a Lackawanna boxcar, road number 55699, in a brown livery featuring The Route of Phoebe Snow script; this item is attributed to Lionel based on design characteristics. The final item is a Lionel Norfolk and Western three-bay covered hopper, road number 546446, in grey with black N and W lettering and marked as built by Lionel on the side. All items are in used, played-with condition showing varying degrees of shelf wear, visible surface dust, and accumulated cobwebs from long-term storage. The cars appear to be complete with their original trucks and couplers. The electrical functionality of the red roof light and the voltmeter on the K-Line boxcar is untested. No original boxes or packaging are included with this lot.
