A Set of 6 Lionel Postwar O-Gauge Passenger Cars - Lionel Postwar 2500 series extruded aluminum passenger cars. The set includes 6 distinct units: one 2530 Railway Express Agency baggage car with two sliding side doors; one 2532 Silver Range vista dome car; one Silver Cloud vista dome car; one Silver Bluff passenger coach; and one Silver Dawn observation car featuring a rounded rear end with a simulated observation light. Each car is constructed with a ribbed aluminum body, die-cast metal trucks, and plastic window inserts featuring interior silhouette passenger strips. The vista dome cars include clear plastic observation domes on the roof. The undercarriages are equipped with metal wheels and electrical pickup rollers intended for interior illumination. The cars are marked with black-lettered nameplates reading LIONEL LINES and their respective names or designations, including RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY 2530, SILVER RANGE 2532, SILVER CLOUD, SILVER BLUFF, and SILVER DAWN. The set is in good to very good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. There are minor surface scuffs, light scratches, and small marks on the aluminum siding. The die-cast trucks and wheels show moderate dust and light surface oxidation. All trucks and couplers appear to be present and intact. Interior silhouette strips are present in the passenger cars. The items have not been tested for electrical lighting functionality. No original packaging is present.
