Lionel RailScope Video Camera System O Gauge GP-9 Diesel Locomotive 6-33000 - Lionel RailScope Video Camera System featuring an O and O27 gauge GP-9 diesel locomotive, model number 6-33000. The locomotive is constructed with a plastic body shell, a stamped metal chassis, and metal handrails. It bears the Lionel Lines road name and road number 3000 on the side, along with the circular Lionel logo. The unit is powered by two AC-DC motors and features remote forward-neutral-reverse operation. The primary component is an integrated micro-electronic video camera mounted inside the cab, designed to transmit a black-and-white image to a standard television set via a receiver disguised as a stack of simulated lumber. According to the packaging, the camera features a 22-degree field of vision, a focus range from 4 inches to infinity, and an automatic iris for varying light conditions. The system requires two 9-volt alkaline batteries for operation and can be set to transmit on television channels 3 or 4. The locomotive remains in its original interior protective plastic and is housed in the original color-illustrated retail box. The original retail box shows signs of age and shelf wear, including scuffing at the corners and edges and a strip of clear adhesive tape on one side. The locomotive appears to be in its original internal packaging and shows no visible damage to the body or handrails. The functionality of the camera system and the dual motors has not been tested.
