Lionel 6-17604 Delaware Lackawanna and Western Standard O Caboose - This lot features a Lionel Standard O gauge model train caboose, model number 6-17604, representing the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western (DL&W) railroad. The caboose is constructed with a plastic body featuring a simulated wood-sided texture and is finished in tuscan red with white lettering. It is equipped with a cupola and metal wheels and axles. The car body is marked with the white printed text LACKAWANNA above the number 17604. Smaller printed text at the end of the car reads BLT 1-88 and LIONEL. The item is housed within its original internal plastic wrap and is accompanied by its original orange and blue Lionel window box. The box end features an adhesive label reading DELAWARE, LACKAWANNA & WESTERN STANDARD O CABOOSE 6-17604. The underside of the box is printed with copyright information stating 1986 LIONEL TRAINS, INC., MT. CLEMENS, MICHIGAN 48045 and MADE AND LITHO IN U.S.A. The caboose appears to be in excellent, potentially unused condition, remaining within its protective plastic packaging. The original window box is present and intact but shows signs of shelf wear, including surface scuffing, edge wear, and minor creasing. No other significant damage or missing parts are observed.
