Lionel Pennsylvania Illuminated Porthole Caboose 6-6908 in Original Box - Lionel O-gauge model train caboose, model number 6-6908, produced during the Fundimensions era. This Pennsylvania Railroad porthole-style caboose is constructed with a dark tuscan red plastic body, a yellow cupola, and a metal frame. The unit features circular porthole windows and is designed with internal illumination components. The side of the car is printed in white with PENNSYLVANIA above a Pennsylvania Railroad keystone logo and the road number 6908. Below the road number is the text LAKE REGION. Additional side markings include BLT 1-84 LIONEL and PRR to the left, and a gold diamond emblem containing the number 5 to the right. The caboose is equipped with two-axle trucks and remains in its original clear internal plastic wrapping. The original orange and cream window box is included. The box end label identifies the item as Pennsylvania Illuminated Porthole Caboose 6-6908. The back of the box features the Lionel logo and a copyright statement for 1983 Fundimensions, Division of CPG Products Corp., Mount Clemens, Michigan. The item appears to be in excellent, possibly unused condition, preserved in the original internal plastic bag. The original window box is present and exhibits minor shelf wear, including light creasing at the edges and corners. The clear plastic display window is intact with typical light aging and minor surface scuffing.
