Three Lionel No. 2343 Santa Fe F3 A-B-A Diesel Locomotive Units - A set of three postwar Lionel O-gauge diesel locomotive units in the Santa Fe F3 A-B-A configuration, consisting of two cab units and one center booster unit. The units feature heavy plastic shells mounted on die-cast metal frames with silver-painted die-cast metal trucks. The locomotives are finished in the classic Santa Fe Warbonnet paint scheme, featuring a red cab and roof transitioning into silver sides with yellow and red longitudinal stripes. Visible markings include the model number 2343 on the nose of the cab units, with SANTA FE, a boxed GM logo, and the text BUILT BY LIONEL printed on the sides. The center B-unit displays a circular Santa Fe winged emblem. Functional and decorative details include ornamental roof horns and circular porthole windows. The lead unit is a powered model traditionally equipped with dual motors and an internal horn, while the trailing units serve as non-powered or dummy units.
