The rolling stock is constructed with die-cast metal bodies, detailed underframes, and real wood decks. Each car is fitted with die-cast metal sprung trucks and operating couplers. The set includes four dark green trailers featuring white graphics that read The Route of PHOEBE SNOW and Lackawanna Railroad. The trailers feature functional opening rear doors. The items are housed in their original Lionel orange-and-cream packaging, which includes the outer master 2-pack box and individual interior boxes for each car. Original instruction sheets and factory plastic wrapping are included. Visible markings include the barcode 0 23922 21899 5 on the outer box and individual barcodes on the interior boxes. The items appear to be in new, unused condition, remaining in their original factory packaging. No visible signs of wear, damage, or use are present on the flatcars or trailers. The original cardboard packaging is intact with only minor shelf wear and remains structurally sound.
