Lionel 6-19908 O-Gauge 1989 Christmas Boxcar in Original Box - This Lionel O-gauge model train freight boxcar is the 1989 Christmas Car, model number 6-19908. The car is constructed with a white plastic body and features a silver-colored ribbed sliding side door. It is equipped with metal wheels, metal trucks, and operating couplers. The exterior graphics include a multi-color illustration of Santa Claus in a red sleigh pulled by reindeer, surrounded by blue and gold snowflakes. Small black text below the reindeer reads BLT 1-89 LIONEL. The opposite side of the car features the red and blue script Season's Greetings from followed by the circular Lionel logo. The boxcar is accompanied by its original cardboard window box in the traditional Lionel orange, blue, and cream color scheme. The end flap retains its original orange adhesive label printed with 1989 CHRISTMAS CAR and 6-19908. The side of the box bears the number 70-6109-200. Manufacturer information on the bottom of the box reads © 1989 Lionel Trains, Inc., Mt. Clemens, Michigan 48045 and MADE AND LITHO IN U.S.A. The boxcar appears to be in excellent, potentially unused condition, remaining inside its original factory protective plastic sleeve. The original box is complete and structurally sound, showing only minor shelf wear, light corner blunting, and age-appropriate yellowing to the white cardboard surfaces.
