Lionel Model 6-9491 Christmas Boxcar 1986 - This Lionel O-gauge model train boxcar was manufactured by Lionel Trains, Inc. in 1986. The rolling stock features a silver-colored plastic body with a red sliding door and a metal chassis and wheels. The car body displays a green script graphic reading Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 1986 on the left side, accompanied by a small mark stating BLT 1-86 LIONEL. The right side is printed with the model number 9491 and the circular Lionel corporate logo in red, white, and blue. The car is housed in its original orange and white window box. The bottom of the box bears the copyright mark 1986 LIONEL TRAINS, INC., MOUNT CLEMENS, MICHIGAN 48045 and is labeled MADE AND LITHO IN U.S.A. The end flaps contain an orange adhesive label printed with LIONEL CHRISTMAS CAR 6-9491. The boxcar appears to be in very good condition with crisp graphics and minimal wear. A small area of white adhesive residue is visible on the silver body near the lower-left corner of the side featuring the holiday greeting. The original box is complete and in good condition, showing light shelf wear, minor creasing on the end flaps, and small corner dings consistent with age and storage.
