This O-gauge model features a plastic body with a white upper section and an orange lower section. A central sliding door reveals an animated plastic figure of a worker dressed in a blue uniform. The car is designed as an operating unit where the figure moves in and out of the doorway when triggered. The car body is marked with technical data including CAPY 100000, LD LMT 127200, LT WT 41100, and the date LT 5-97 LIONEL. The item is housed in its original Lionel window display box. The box end flap is printed with 3464X FEDEX ANIMATED BOXCAR and 6-19835, along with trademark authority from Federal Express Corp. The box base is marked 1998 LIONEL LLC, CHESTERFIELD, MI 48051-2493 and MADE AND LITHO IN USA. Box: 11 inches L x 3.5 inches W x 2.5 inches H. The item is in new-old-stock condition, appearing to have never been removed from the original factory packaging. The paint and graphics are bright, crisp, and intact. The original window box is in good condition with very minor shelf wear to the corners and edges. The mechanical animated function has not been tested.
