Lionel Chicago & North Western Double Door Boxcar No. 6-29344 - A Lionel O-gauge model train boxcar featuring the Chicago and North Western (CNW) road name and road number 57766. This double-door boxcar is finished in a reddish-brown color scheme with crisp white graphics. The side panels include the text CHICAGO AND NORTH WESTERN, CNW 57766, and the slogan ROUTE OF The 400 Streamliners with a hexagonal 400 logo. The car is constructed with a detailed plastic body and features a separately applied metal underframe. It is equipped with die-cast metal sprung trucks and operating couplers with hidden uncoupling tabs. The item includes its original factory window box with a protective plastic insert. The end of the box contains an orange label identifying the model as 6-29344 with a corresponding barcode. The bottom of the box is marked with a copyright of 1973 Lionel L.L.C. and indicates the item was made in China. The boxcar is in excellent, like-new condition with no visible signs of wear, paint loss, or damage to the body and trucks. The original factory box is intact and structurally sound, showing only minor shelf wear and light corner softening.
