Lionel O Gauge 2003 LRRC Christmas Box Car - This Lionel O-gauge model train boxcar is a 2003 Lionel Railroader Club (LRRC) Christmas edition, identification number 6-39249. The car is constructed with a molded plastic red body featuring decorative green panels with gold borders. The left side panel displays the text Have a Merry Little Christmas, and the right side panel reads New Year followed by cursive script. The model is built with a metal frame and features die-cast metal sprung trucks with metal wheels. The item is contained in its original Lionel orange and cream window box, which bears the printed product label, barcode, and manufacturer logo. The box underside includes the copyright date of 2002 for Lionel LLC and indicates manufacture in China. The boxcar is in excellent, likely unused condition, remaining within its original internal protective plastic sleeve. The original box is present and shows minor shelf wear at the corners and along the edges. There are handwritten acquisition notes in red ink on one end flap of the box indicating purchase price and dates in 2003.
