Lionel 6-19945 1996 Holiday Merry Christmas O-Gauge Boxcar with Original Box - This is a Lionel O-gauge model train boxcar, model number 6-19945, released as the 1996 Holiday Boxcar. The item features a white molded plastic body with a central green sliding door. The exterior is decorated with multi-colored festive graphics, including an illustration of Santa Claus standing next to a decorated Christmas tree on the left-hand side. To the right of the door is the text Merry Christmas in red script above the number 19945 and a circular stylized L logo in blue, red, and white. The car body is further detailed with blue stars and swirling line motifs. Printed markings on the car side include BLT 10-96 LIONEL. Mechanical features include opening side doors and operating knuckle couplers. The boxcar is contained within its original Lionel orange and cream window box with an internal plastic cradle. The box end-label features a barcode and technical specifications. The underside of the box is marked 1996 LIONEL LLC, CHESTERFIELD, MI and MADE AND LITHO IN U.S.A. The item appears in excellent, potentially unused New Old Stock condition. It remains within its original internal plastic packaging. The original box is complete and shows minor shelf wear, primarily limited to light rubbing at the edges and soft corners.
