The models consist of articulated tractor cabs and trailers finished in a silver and light gray color scheme. The trailers are decorated with Amtrak livery, including a red and blue horizontal stripe, the Amtrak logo, and the designation U.S. MAIL CONTRACTOR. Each trailer bears the identification number AMTZ 472000. Construction is primarily die-cast metal with supplemental plastic components.
