Lionel 6-18272 Pennsylvania Railroad Congressional Special EP-5 Electric Locomotive - A Lionel O-gauge electric model locomotive, model number 6-18272, representing the Pennsylvania Railroad Congressional Special. This locomotive features an EP-5 style body finished in a two-tone livery consisting of a Tuscan red upper section over a gold-colored lower section, accented by multiple horizontal pinstripes. The sides of the locomotive are marked with the numerals 8272 and the word PENNSYLVANIA in serif block lettering. The center of the body displays the Pennsylvania Railroad keystone logo containing the letters PRR. The locomotive is constructed with a die-cast metal frame and features dual operating metal pantographs mounted on the roof. Included with the locomotive is a separate rectangular brass-toned plaque that reads Congressional Special in script and by LIONEL in block letters. This model was originally released as a special edition for J.C. Penney. The locomotive appears to be in excellent, potentially new old stock condition, remaining wrapped in its original clear factory plastic and seated within the original molded styrofoam protective insert. The outer cardboard box is not included. Due to the item remaining in its original factory wrapping, the internal motor and electronic components have not been tested for functionality.
