Circa 1920 Art Deco Sterling Silver and Guilloche Enamel Fan Brooch by H.H. Curtis - An Art Deco period fan-shaped brooch manufactured in sterling silver. The design features translucent guilloche enamel applied over engine-turned metal detailing. The inner semi-circular section is finished in rose-pink enamel with a sunburst pattern, while the larger fan section displays creamy white enamel with a chevron or herringbone pattern. The pivot point at the base is set with a single square-cut translucent green stone. The reverse is stamped STERLING along with a maker mark of a stylized letter H within a triangle, identifying the piece as the work of H.H. Curtis of North Attleboro, Massachusetts. The piece is fitted with a traditional pin stem and a rolling safety clasp. Width: 1.5 inches Weight: 0.113 ozt. The brooch is in good vintage condition. The guilloche enamel is well-preserved with no major chips or losses visible. The silver reverse shows natural darkening and tarnish consistent with age. The pin mechanism and safety clasp remain functional.
