1923-D US Peace Silver Dollar - 1923 US Peace Silver Dollar struck at the Denver Mint. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The obverse features the Liberty profile with a radiate crown, and the reverse shows the Peace design with a bald eagle perched on a rock. The Anthony de Francisci designer monogram is visible on the obverse neck truncation. A āDā mint mark is present on the reverse above the eagle's tail feathers. The coin has a reeded edge. Weight: 0.859 ozt (26.72 grams). Heavily circulated. The coin exhibits substantial wear with significant flattening of high-relief design elements. Both the obverse and reverse surfaces show numerous heavy scratches and abrasions. Prominent yellowish-brown staining and toning are present across both faces.
