A Collection of Four US 90% Silver Half Dollars, 1949-1964 - This lot comprises four United States 90% silver half dollars, consisting of two Franklin and two Kennedy issues. The group includes one 1949-S Franklin half dollar, which bears the S mint mark on the reverse above the Liberty Bell yoke; this coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule. A second Franklin half dollar is dated 1963 and lacks a mint mark (Philadelphia). The lot also contains two 1964-D Kennedy half dollars, both bearing a D mint mark on the reverse above the L and F in HALF. All coins are silver in composition with reeded edges.
