US Fourth Issue 10-Cent Fractional Currency Note Fr 1257 - This United States Fourth Issue fractional currency ten-cent note features a Liberty head vignette on the obverse and an ornate green design on the reverse. The obverse is printed in black ink and displays the signatures of Register of the Treasury John Allison and Treasurer of the United States Francis E. Spinner. It features a prominent red overprint of a treasury seal and the numeral 10. The lower border is inscribed FRACTIONAL CURRENCY. The reverse is printed in green ink and contains a central text block regarding exchangeability and receptibility, flanked by large numerals 10.
