A Set of 1965-1969 US JFK Anniversary Silver Clad Kennedy Half Dollars - This set, titled Silver Clad Collection - JFK Anniversary Coin Set, was produced by SSCA in 1992. The collection includes five Kennedy half dollars with the dates 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, and 1969. The obverse of each coin features the profile portrait of John F. Kennedy, and the reverse displays the Presidential Seal design. The coins are struck in 40% silver clad composition, consisting of an outer layer of .800 silver and .200 copper bonded to an inner core of .209 silver and .791 copper. The set is housed in its original clear plastic display holder with a blue graphic insert commemorating the 30th anniversary of Kennedy's presidency. Diameter: 30.6 mm Weight: 11.50 grams Case length: 6.5 inches. The coins are in uncirculated condition. Several of the coins exhibit visible peripheral toning on the obverse and reverse surfaces. The clear plastic protective case shows light surface wear and minor scuffing consistent with storage.
