A Collection of Victorian and Vintage Stick Pins and Hatpins with Pincushion - This lot features a collection of stick pins and hatpins of varying styles and periods, presented in a traditional fabric-covered pincushion. The collection includes approximately fifteen pins with diverse decorative heads. Notable motifs include two circular gold-tone discs with engraved monograms (one reading EMS), a figural butterfly pin, a floral-form pin set with clear rhinestones, and an oval goldstone (aventurine glass) cabochon pin. There is also a pin featuring a dark red cabochon, likely garnet or glass, held in a serrated gold-tone bezel. The assortment includes various glass bead heads in shades of light blue, translucent green, and purple. One silver-tone butterfly pin is stamped on the reverse with a circular mark reading STERLING and the initials V.B. The pincushion is a rounded, pumpkin-style fabric form divided by cords and embellished with small silver-tone metal beads. Pincushion diameter: approximately 2.5 to 3 inches Tallest pin height: approximately 4.25 inches. The collection is in good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. Tarnish and oxidation are present on many of the metal stems and decorative heads. There is surface wear, minor scratches, and some dulling to the glass and stone elements. One pin stem is visibly bent. The fabric pincushion shows significant signs of age, including fading, accumulated dust, and fraying to both the main fabric and the dividing cord elements.
