The collection includes a 1943 Walking Liberty half dollar, a 1951 Franklin half dollar, a 1969 Kennedy half dollar, and a 1776-1976 Bicentennial Kennedy half dollar. The Walking Liberty and Franklin examples are struck in 90 percent silver (0.900 fineness). The 1969 Kennedy half dollar is a 40 percent silver clad issue (0.400 fineness). The Bicentennial half dollar is a standard copper-nickel clad issue. The display insert features printed identification for each coin and is marked with a 1995 copyright and serial number 1109. Diameter: 30.6 mm. The 1943 and 1951 silver coins exhibit moderate circulation wear and light surface toning, grading approximately fine to very fine. The 1969 and 1976 Kennedy half dollars retain significant original mint luster with minor surface contact marks, grading about uncirculated to uncirculated. The acrylic case shows surface scuffing and a visible crack on the front panel near the Franklin half dollar.
