A Collection of US Silver Dimes and a Copper Cent Including Modified Coin Jewelry - This collection of US coinage consists of multiple Winged Liberty Head Mercury dimes (KM# 140), a Barber dime (KM# 113), and an Indian Head cent (KM# 90a). The silver-colored dimes include circulation strikes dated 1910, 1939, and 1943, composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The copper-colored cent is dated 1899. Two Mercury dimes, dated 1939 and 1941, have been hand-cut to create openwork silhouettes around the central portrait and modified into stud earrings with metal posts soldered to the reverse. The coins feature standard obverse and reverse designs for their respective series. Weight: 0.423 ozt (silver-colored items) Diameter: Approximately 17.9 mm (dimes).
