Favre Watch Co. 14K Solid Gold Cushion Case Trench Style Wristwatch - A vintage manual wind wristwatch produced by the Favre Watch Co., dating to the early 20th century. The timepiece features a cushion-shaped case constructed from 14k solid gold, detailed with fixed wire lugs characteristic of trench style watches from the 1910s and 1920s. The white enamel-style dial is composed of large black Arabic numeral hour markers, cathedral-style hands, and a small seconds sub-dial located at the 6 o'clock position. The Swiss mechanical movement is stamped FAVRE W. Co., SWISS, and 3 ADJ. 15 JEWELS. The interior of the case back is hallmarked 14K within an oval cartouche and is stamped with the serial number 150752, followed by FAVRE WATCH Co. and SWISS. Multiple hand-engraved jeweler's service marks are present on the interior case back, including K-3-4-81 and MK 46275. The base of the dial is marked SWISS. Case width: 26mm (excluding crown). The watch is in poor to fair vintage condition. The dial shows significant crazing and cracking throughout, with visible chipping near the 5 o'clock and 10 o'clock positions. The 14k solid gold case exhibits surface scratches and signs of wear consistent with age. The crystal shows numerous surface scratches. The mechanical movement appears intact, however, the working status is untested and unverified. This item is sold as-is.
