Vintage Phenix Incabloc Manual Wind Swiss Wristwatch - A mid-century Swiss-made manual wind field-style wristwatch by the Phenix Watch Company. The timepiece features a base metal case with chrome plating and a stainless steel screw-down back. The cream-colored dial is finished with Arabic numeral hour markers, luminescent syringe-style hands, and a printed outer minute and second track with numeric indicators at five-minute intervals. The dial is signed PHENIX, INCABLOC, WATERPROOF, ANTIMAGNETIC, and SWISS. The manual wind movement is marked PHENIX WATCH Co S.A. SWISS, SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS, and UNADJUSTED, with regulation markings A and R on the balance bridge. The interior of the case back is stamped PHENIX WATCH Co S.A. SWISS and STAINLESS STEEL BACK. The material is noted as Does Not Run. Diameter: 33 mm Lug-to-lug: 40 mm. This watch is in used vintage condition and currently Does Not Run. The case shows significant wear and loss of the chrome plating on the lugs and sides, revealing the base metal underneath. The crystal has multiple deep scratches and visible crazing. The dial has developed an even patina with some spotting, and the luminescent material on the hands and numerals has darkened significantly. The watch is offered without a strap or spring bars.
