Mounted Red Wax Seal Impression of the Zijlclooster Haarlem Netherlands - This item consists of a mounted red sealing-wax impression representing the historical seal of the Zijlclooster, also known as the Sijlklooster, located in Haarlem, Netherlands. The central iconography features the Virgin Mary enthroned while holding the Christ Child. A Latin inscription encircles the border, reading S RECTORIS MONIALIVM IN HAERLEM, which identifies it as the seal of the Rector of the Nuns in Haarlem. The seal is affixed to an off-white cardstock mount. A separate translucent paper label is pasted above the seal with a Dutch cursive inscription stating Zegel van het voormalige Zijlclooster te Haarlem. The reverse of the card displays a decorative polychrome pattern including foliate motifs and a central geometric knot design with gilt highlights.
