Collector Specimen Card with 15th Century Style Red Wax Seal Impression for Jan de Vrede - This collector specimen card features a central red wax seal impression attributed to Jan de Vrede. The seal design is executed in the 15th-century style, as indicated by the handwritten notation 15e E. in the upper left corner. The perimeter of the seal impression contains the circular inscription S IAN DE VREDE in relief. The wax is mounted within a raised, circular protective ring on a square tan cardstock base. The card includes several handwritten ink annotations in a Dutch or Flemish context. The name de Vrede Jan is written in the upper right.
