Ditmar Urbach Czech Art Deco Flora Pattern Pottery Vase - This Art Deco earthenware vase is produced in the Flora pattern, attributed to the Ditmar Urbach factory in Czechoslovakia. The piece features a bulbous lower body that tapers into a slender neck, terminating in a wide, flared rim. The exterior is hand-painted with bold, stylized poppy-like flowers in vibrant red and green with deep purple centers, set against a cream-colored ground. The background is further decorated with a dark green scrolling swirl or wave pattern. The wide rim and the base are finished in a solid cobalt blue glaze. The underside of the base bears a hand-painted numeral 21 in blue script and a stamped mark reading Hand painted. Czechoslovakia in dark ink.
