Seeland Watch Co. Sterling Silver WW2 Era Military Style Gents Wristwatch - Watch Runs, missing the second hand. A Seeland Watch Co. manual-wind wristwatch dating to the World War II era. The timepiece features a Swiss-made movement marked with seven jewels, unadjusted, and the MXH import code. The dial exhibits a heavy dark tropical patina with legible Arabic numerals, a small seconds sub-dial at the six o'clock position, and is marked Seeland and Waterproof. The case is constructed of sterling silver, indicated by the word Sterling and a diamond symbol stamped between the lugs. The interior of the case back is marked with the Elite Watch Case Company logo within a diamond, alongside the designations Stainless and Base Metal, and contains various hand-scratched jeweler service marks. The movement bridge is signed Seeland Watch Co. The watch retains a single gold-tone spring bar on the lower lugs but lacks a strap.
