Navajo Sterling Silver and Turquoise Shadowbox Bear Paw Pendant - This Navajo pendant is attributed to silversmith Freddie Maloney based on the hallmark present on the reverse. The piece is crafted from silver and features a shadowbox construction in a teardrop form. The face is decorated with a cutout bear paw motif. A single teardrop-shaped turquoise cabochon is bezel-set within the upper portion of the cutout design. The turquoise displays a blue-green hue with a natural matrix. The reverse of the pendant features an integrated hook-style bale for suspension. The hallmark consists of an incised vertical line with a horizontal base, a central crossbar, and an inverted V-shape at the top. Length: 2 inches Width: 1 3/8 inches.
