A Collection of Wennawoods Publishing Great Pennsylvania Frontier Series and Native American History Books - This collection consists of an assortment of contemporary hardcover volumes, primarily modern reprints of seminal historical texts regarding the early American frontier and Native American studies. The majority of the works are published by Wennawoods Publishing as part of The Great Pennsylvania Frontier Series. Titles include two volumes of The Olden Time by Neville B. Craig, Forts on the Pennsylvania Frontier 1753-1758 by William A. Hunter, Aboriginal History of the Susquehanna by Louise Welles Murray, and History of Brule's Discoveries and Explorations 1610-1626 by Consul Willshire Butterfield. Other titles in the group include The History of Pennsylvania's Wyoming Valley, Chief Logan: An Anthology, Historical Map of Pennsylvania, Captured by the Indians, Diplomacy and Indian Gifts, On the Frontier with Colonel Antes, Historical Account of Bouquet's Expedition, and Along the Braddock Road. The collection is completed by a large format pictorial work titled The First Americans featuring photographs from the Library of Congress. The volumes are bound in various colored buckram or leatherette with gilt-stamped titles and thematic decorative motifs on the front covers and spines. Several volumes are hand-numbered limited editions from print runs of 1,000 to 2,000 copies. Publication dates for these reprints range from approximately 1999 to 2011.
