A Collection of United States Kennedy Half Dollars - A collection of United States Kennedy half dollars featuring the left-facing profile of President John F. Kennedy on the obverse. The group includes coins with various mintage dates including 1971, 1972, 1974, 1977, 1983, 2000, and the dual-dated 1776-1976 Bicentennial issue. Visible inscriptions on the obverse include LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST, with several examples displaying the D mint mark for the Denver Mint. The reverse designs consist of the standard Heraldic Eagle Presidential Seal or, for the Bicentennial issues, Independence Hall with the text 200 YEARS OF FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE HALL. These coins are composed of a copper-nickel clad material.
