Roosevelt and a reverse design depicting a torch flanked by an olive branch and an oak branch. The group contains 90 percent silver specimens minted through 1964 and cupro-nickel clad specimens from 1965 and later. Visible minting years within the collection include 1949, 1951, 1952, 1954, 1955, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964, and 1966. The coins are struck in silver or a copper-nickel alloy with reeded edges.
