A Group of United States Franklin Silver Half Dollars - A group of mid-20th century United States Franklin half dollars struck in 90 percent silver. Each coin features the profile of Benjamin Franklin on the obverse accompanied by the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. Visible mint dates include 1951, 1952, 1953, 1957, and 1963. The reverse of each coin displays the Liberty Bell and a small heraldic eagle with the text UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination HALF DOLLAR. These coins were produced by the United States Mint and feature reeded edges.
