The obverse of each coin features the profile of President Franklin D. Roosevelt with the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse sides display the standard design of a torch flanked by an olive branch and an oak branch, with the text UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination ONE DIME. Several coins exhibit visible D mint marks for the Denver Mint.
