A Group of 1964 Kennedy 90% Silver Half Dollars - A group of United States Kennedy half dollars, all dated 1964. These coins are struck in 90% silver, which was the standard composition for the first year of the series. The obverse of each coin features the profile of President John F. Kennedy with the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse displays the Presidential Seal with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and HALF DOLLAR. At least one coin exhibits a D mint mark for the Denver Mint, located on the reverse above the L in DOLLAR. The collection is accompanied by a handwritten note reading D Proof.
