Two Morgan Silver Dollars, 1880 and 1889-O - Two United States Morgan silver dollars featuring examples dated 1880 and 1889. The obverse of each coin depicts a profile portrait of Liberty wearing a cap and crown inscribed with LIBERTY, surrounded by thirteen stars, the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the respective year. The reverse features a bald eagle with wings spread, clutching an olive branch and arrows, encircled by a wreath and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, In God we trust, and ONE DOLLAR. The 1889 specimen displays an O mint mark for the New Orleans Mint on the reverse above the DO in DOLLAR, while the 1880 specimen is from the Philadelphia Mint. Both coins are struck in silver.
