A Pair of 1887 O Morgan Silver Dollars - This pair of Morgan silver dollars was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1887. Composed of a 90 percent silver alloy, the obverse of each coin features the left-facing profile of Lady Liberty, bordered by the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars, and the mintage year. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings clutching an olive branch and arrows, partially enclosed by a wreath. Inscriptions on the reverse include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, In God we trust, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR.
