A Collection of United States Peace Silver Dollars - A collection of United States Peace Dollar silver coins minted between 1922 and 1928. (8) S Mint Mark, 2 D Mint Mark. Struck in 90 percent silver, these coins feature the design by Anthony de Francisci. The obverse depicts Lady Liberty in profile wearing a radiate crown with the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse shows a bald eagle perched on a rock inscribed with PEACE, surrounded by the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and E PLURIBUS UNUM. The group includes various dates and mint marks, with D for Denver and S for San Francisco visible on several pieces.
