The obverse features a central depiction of a three-masted sailing ship encircled by the legend PATENT SHEATHING NAIL MANUFACTORY BRISTOL. The reverse is inscribed HALF PENNY TOKEN within a central circle, surrounded by the text PAYABLE AT BRISTOL AND LONDON with the date 1811 at the bottom.
