A Swiss .800 Silver Open-Face Pocket Watch, Late 19th to Early 20th Century - This open-face pocket watch features an engine-turned .800 silver case decorated with floral engraved accents and a central monogrammed cartouche. The white enamel dial is set with black Roman numeral hour markers and a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. The gilded, key-wind bridge-plate movement is housed beneath a cuivette marked METAL. The inner dust cover is inscribed PATENT, Ancre 15 Rubis, and Spiral Breguet, signifying a 15-jewel lever movement with a Breguet overcoil hairspring. Case hallmarks include the .800/M silver fineness mark and the Swiss grouse (Auerhahn) stamp. The serial number 26198 is stamped on the interior case and cuivette.
